Permalight photoluminescent sign kits are designed to
be used with MaxiSoft® MaxiSigns or MaxiSigns IMO version
software for making safety and facility signs. These kits
allow you to make glow-in-the dark signs and markers that
comply with a wide variety of safety regulations*. Sign
kits include all the pieces necessary for making photoluminescent
signs (including sign holders) using your PC and standard
ink jet or laser printer. Signs are made in 3 easy steps.
First, design your standard or custom sign using MaxiSigns®
Software program. Then print your sign using your ink-jet
or laser printer on the clear film (included in kit),
then lay the clear film on top of the photoluminescent
back panel (included in kit) and insert both sheets into
the sign holder (included in kit). The sign holder mounts
with a wide variety of fastening devices.
The key advantages of this
sign making system are:
1. Make customized, photoluminescent compliant safety
and facility signs in a matter of minutes.
2. Signs can be adjusted or changed easily by printing
a new clear layer and re-using the photoluminescent back
panel.
3. Environmentally responsible materials / and no maintenance.
Photoluminescent materials reduce the need for electricity,
batteries, light bulbs, and servicing. No hazardous material
is used to make signs glow.
4. Permalight Photoluminescent materials far exceed safety
standards for hazard identification. A large portion of
standard glow material is “novelty grade”, intended for
costumes, gags, gimmicks, and trickery; whereas Permalight
materials are SAFETY GRADE intended for SAFETY IDENTIFICATION
REQUIREMENTS.
5. Custom glow-in-the-dark signs made using the MaxiSigns99
and Permalight Sign Making kits drastically reduce the
cost of photoluminescent signs. You can expect to save
between 50-80% on sign cost.
6. Photoluminescent signs can be made instantly and there
is no wait for delivery, plus extra sign charges are eliminated.
Choosing Your Sign Kit:
1.) Determine your printer type (either ink jet or laser).
2.) Determine the quality of photoluminescence needed.
3.) Determine the number of signs you need to make. Kits
come in 5 and 10 packs. Each kit contains all the pieces
necessary to make either 5 or 10 complete signs.
